God Delights and wants your company! =]

I read a devotional from "our daily bread" devotional application i have on facebook. It really spoke to my heart.

This is what it said:

“ Be still, and know that I am God. —Psalm 46:10 ”
My friend Mary told me that she had always valued the time she spent fishing with her dad. Not being a fishing aficionado myself, I was curious about what she found so enjoyable. “I just like being with my dad,” she said. “So you just fish and talk?” I asked her. “Oh, no, we don’t really talk,” she said. “We just fish.”
It wasn’t the conversation—it was the company.
Did you ever think about how much time we spend talking? In what we like to call our “quiet time” with God, we usually fill in any silence with our prayers. But do we ever practice just being “still”?
God said, “Be still, and know that I am God” (Ps. 46:10). When Jesus noticed that the disciples were so busy that they didn’t even have time to eat, He told them, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while” (Mark 6:31). When we leave the distractions of life behind, we can more easily rest and refocus on God.
Are you allowing quiet moments alone with God to be a part of your life? Do you desire for Him to restore your soul? (Ps. 23:1-3). Let Him teach you how to “be still.” And listen when Jesus invites you: “Come aside with Me and rest a while.” —

The quiet times we spend with GodIn solitude and prayerWill strengthen and restore our souls And help us sense His care. —Sper
Quiet times with God store up power for future emergencies.

Last night as I went to spend time with Jesus. I just really felt like God wanted my company. I felt like i should just be still- not read the Bible, pray, intercede, worship, ect. [of course inless He led me to.] But just to sit still before Him and dwell with in Him and in His presence in the sacred place.

If you know me, or even if you dont, you know or find out soon that i am practically a "go go go" person. It is hard for me to sit still. Sometimes if i sit still to long ill get antsy lol. I like to be doing something whether its on the computer, talking/texting on the phone, watching tv, hanging with friends, reading the Bible, worship, intercession ect. I dont like to sit and read for long periods of time. I cant. I dont really like reading. I love reading the Bible and thats about all i can sit down for long periods of time and do. I am currently reading a book called "redeeming love" [though i still havent finished it] and i ABSOLUTELY love it. But im not one when i have free time to just pick it up and read for hours and hours. The best time i get some reading done sometimes is on trips. Anyways, i think you get the picture now. haha. =]

So even sitting still with Jesus at time is soooo hard. Im better at it at time than other times.

So last night, as i was just trying to sit still, listen, and just dwell with Daddy. It was hard. My mind kept wandering and i just wanted to pray, intercede, worship, pace back and forth in my room [which sometimes does help me focus but i felt like i should just sit], read the Word ect. [I was able to just focus at time]But i just felt like i should be still.

I felt like God just wanted my company. Even as hard as it was, it was the sweetest time with Daddy. He began showing me things.

He desires our company. He loves it when we pray/intercede, worship [of course! :], read the Word ect. But He also most values our company. Just being with Him. ridding ourselves of everything of yesterday, today, tomorrow and just taked time to sit with Him. Our company with Him whether praying or reading the Word or even just sitting still delights in Him. He delights in our company. I feel like it excites Him when wecome to Him. Something He began showing me a week or so ago was He doesnt expect us to come to Him with it altogether all the time. He is just excited when we take that time to have company with Him. He wants us to come to Him honestly, broken, and without masks.

I was reading something like last week on Child-like faith. As i was reading, i was just thinking about what does it mean to have child-like faith. Jesus talks about it but what does He mean. I began to see as i kept reading and the Holy Spirit i think opened my eyes more to it that its like a little child. When you see a little child, there is just so much innocence in them. They don't hide there emotions. You pretty much know whats on there mind cause they are so outspoken. The constantly go to the parent for things because they know they are totally dependent on the parents for food, clothes, shelter, love, acception, ect.

Like Spiritually when we are younge in our faith. We fully realize that we are totally dependent on Jesus for spiritual food, healing, ect as well as our physically needs. We go to Him and talk to Him and tell Him how we feel. We are just so real with Him. But as we grow in our faith. We begin to close up and maybe feel like God has higher expectations. Or maybe what we did is to much. But God is abundant in grace.

we need to have the child-like faith. Realizing our need and desperation for Him. To come to Him with our company with the masks. Matt 5 says "Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven". Its realizing how broken we are and how much we are dependent on God for eveything we need and everything we are. He just wants us to be real with Him and love Him. He loves it when we come to Him no matter what we we have done and no matter whats going on. There is nothing He has that isnt enough to overcome, cover, and wash whatever is going on in us and in our lives.

Also, when we just sit still before Him and know He is God and just dwell and gaze into His face and majecty, it allows Him to embrace us and love on us in ways He cant when we are always on the go. I started thinking about a little child [again lol]. When a child is running around and playing and go go go, you cant hold them and embrace them and love on them in ways cause they are busy doing this and doing that and going here and going there. But once you get them in your arms and they quiet down and become still. You can hold them, embrace them, and love on them so personally. God desires intimacy with His children. I remember one night several weeks ago I was just laying on my bed just praying. I dont remember what i was praying but i felt the Lord say "I just want to love you". Truth is, God just want to love YOU to. There is a love He has than we havent even began to know. He love for us is so agressive, passionate, intimate. It also allows Him to move in us differently cause we just become more open to Him.

the picture says [in case its hard for someone to read or something]: "God delights to meet to meet the faith one one who looks up to Him and says, "Lord, You know I cannot do this...But I beleive You can."...

How Powerful!

Be blessed and Be encouraged!

Psalms =]

Psalm 98

1 Sing to the LORD a new song,
for he has done marvelous things;
his right hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.

2 The LORD has made his salvation known
and revealed his righteousness to the nations.

3 He has remembered his love
and his faithfulness to the house of Israel;
all the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation of our God.

4 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth,
burst into jubilant song with music;

5 make music to the LORD with the harp,
with the harp and the sound of singing,

6 with trumpets and the blast of the ram's horn—
shout for joy before the LORD, the King.

7 Let the sea resound, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it.

8 Let the rivers clap their hands,
Let the mountains sing together for joy;

9 let them sing before the LORD,
for he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
and the peoples with equity.

Psalm 99

1 The LORD reigns,
let the nations tremble;
he sits enthroned between the cherubim,
let the earth shake.

2 Great is the LORD in Zion;
he is exalted over all the nations.

3 Let them praise your great and awesome name—
he is holy.

4 The King is mighty, he loves justice—
you have established equity;
in Jacob you have done
what is just and right.

5 Exalt the LORD our God
and worship at his footstool;
he is holy.

6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests,
Samuel was among those who called on his name;
they called on the LORD
and he answered them.

7 He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud;
they kept his statutes and the decrees he gave them.

8 O LORD our God,
you answered them;
you were to Israel [a] a forgiving God,
though you punished their misdeeds.

9 Exalt the LORD our God
and worship at his holy mountain,
for the LORD our God is holy.

Psalm 100

1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.

2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.

3 Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his [a] ;
We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.

5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Psalm 101

1 I will sing of your love and justice;
to you, O LORD, I will sing praise.

2 I will be careful to lead a blameless life—
when will you come to me?
I will walk in my house
with blameless heart.

3 I will set before my eyes
no vile thing.
The deeds of faithless men I hate;
they will not cling to me.

4 Men of perverse heart shall be far from me;
I will have nothing to do with evil.

5 Whoever slanders his neighbor in secret,
him will I put to silence;
whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart,
him will I not endure.

6 My eyes will be on the faithful in the land,
that they may dwell with me;
he whose walk is blameless
will minister to me.

7 No one who practices deceit
will dwell in my house;
no one who speaks falsely
will stand in my presence.

8 Every morning I will put to silence
all the wicked in the land;
I will cut off every evildoer
from the city of the LORD.

Burn

"Burn"

This is the time, this is the day
This is the time, to stop compromising

This is the time, This is the day
This is the time, to get out of complacency

Won't You come like a rushing wind
Won't You come with the thunder of Heaven

I want to burn, I want to burn for You
So won't You send Your Holy Fire
cause I wanna burn!

I will rise, and bring Your Kingdom
I will rise, and bring Your Kingdom
I will rise, and bring Your Kingdom
I will rise, and bring Your Kingdom

wont You come like a rushing wind
Wont you come with the thunder of Heaven

We want to burn, We want to burn for You
So won't you send Your Holy Fire
cause we wanna burn!

We will rise, and bring Your Kingdom
We will rise, and bring Your Kingdom
We will rise, and bring Your Kingdom
We will rise, and bring Your Kingdom

Just cause He can!...

So...I am taking a 9 weeks history course. Its...well..God has really been speaking to me and bringing me His Word to hold onto. Its just hard cause it is a 9 weeks cause and i easily stress out and worry bout things. But God has really just had His hand over me and giving me peace. Its been amazing cause i havent been freaking out or stressing like i normally would. Its totally been a God thing. I have had my lil fits and times where i would freak out but i would immediately quote Gods word and hold into it and be in continuous prayer...lol...

so we had out first test last thursday. It was ok. Not so bad as i thought but definately not the easiest. After the test i really felt 50-50 about it. Not to confident but not like down in the drumps about it. But definately did really feel like i had done the best on that test..like i prolly wouldnt get an A.

anywho to make a story shorter.....

we got the test back today. I was TOTALLY shocked!! I made an 88!! it has totally made my day! I was and am totally ecstastic and for me to be ecstastic about a B says ALOT! haha!..really i made an 81 but he scaled it 7 pts so i made an 88! either way it amazing! The only thing I can say was it was not me it was totally a God thing! Even to this moment i dont know how i did it except it was God! By the grace of God!

so on the way home im just talking to God and i remembered what the Coach said at the end of Facing the Giants. when i got home [i dont live but like 5 mins away from the college] i told God about how i remembered how the Coach at the end of Facing the Giants said something like that God has done so much and he just throws in the championship cause he can"

I was like "Jesus you saved me! You gave your life for me! You giving me the revelation of Your Love. Revelation of who You are. God the way you change me and mold me to be more like Jesus and to have the face of Jesus. You calling me to places and to do things..the way you use me. You do it just cause you can! You do it cause you just love me!"

i never thought about it like that. Its amazing! I mean its been done. Jesus paid it all. But the rest of this He does just cause He can...He wants to! Cause He loves us that much! He has set His affection on us! He wants us more than we could every imagine! I was to give everything of myself to Him!

Lord set me upon a rock firm beneath Your wings to give everything of myself to You and follow you where ever you may lead me! Whether it be through the fire or whethere it be through the rain! Whether it be through th valley whether it be through the highest mountain! I will NOT rest till You come Jesus! I will not rest till there is a widespread awakening through the nations! I will not rest till till there is revival! I will not rest!
